Product context
Evaporative Cooling Pad 7090 is designed for large factories, warehouses and high-heat industrial spaces. Its treated evaporative media supports stable water distribution and heat transfer.
Operating principle
Water is circulated from the tank to saturate the evaporative cooling pads.
The fan or blower pulls hot outdoor air through the wet pads.
Heat is absorbed through evaporation before filtered air reaches the occupied space.
Built for industrial use
Continuous outdoor air movement helps reduce heat in open or semi-open facilities.
Even wetting supports stable evaporation, filtration and cooling performance.
Corrosion-resistant housing and reinforced components support long service life.
Timer, temperature and optional humidity controls make daily operation easier.
Selection data
Before specifying
Cooling performance depends on entering air temperature, relative humidity and ventilation. The system performs best where cooled fresh air can move continuously through the space.
Service routine
Before seasonal shutdownTurn off the water supply, empty and clean the tank, and dry the cooling pads.
During extended storageDrain circulating water and check the tank, pads and housing for scale, algae or corrosion.
Facility planning
Review pad construction, water distribution, installation pairing and service requirements for this cooling media system.
The 7090 cooling pad uses treated paper media with hardeners, preservatives, and odorless binders to support structural strength and service durability in continuous wet operation.
During operation, water is distributed across the pad and incoming hot air passes through the wet fluted channels. Heat is transferred from the air to the water, and evaporation lowers the leaving-air temperature. The resulting cool, humidified air can then be moved through the target space by an air cooler or exhaust-fan system.
The 7090 format is intended for configurable installations where pad height, width, and depth must match the equipment opening and required airflow conditions. It can be specified for evaporative air coolers, agricultural buildings, livestock facilities, and industrial ventilation systems, subject to project sizing and water-quality requirements.
The 7 mm flute height and 45° / 45° groove geometry support repeatable pad assembly and water distribution. Available pad dimensions should be confirmed against the selected frame, airflow, water distribution method, and installation orientation before ordering.
For reliable operation, keep the water distribution system clean, inspect the pad for scale or biological growth, and prevent dry spots during operation. Actual cooling performance depends on entering-air conditions, relative humidity, airflow, water distribution, and system design; final selection should be verified by the project engineer.
Inspect the pad at the start and end of the cooling season, or more frequently in dusty or mineral-heavy operating environments. Clean or replace the media when fouling, scaling, deformation, or reduced water distribution affects airflow and cooling performance. Service intervals and replacement timing vary with operating conditions and should follow the equipment maintenance plan.
