What is HVLS fan?

  • HVLS industrial Fan is a super larger energy-saving fan with a diameter up to 7.3 meters (24ft).
  • A power of 1.5kw or less, with High Volume(13,500m³ /min) of air at a Low Speed, cools up to 1000 square meters.
  • Produce a large volume of natural wind, which leads to wind chill effect with space ventilation, as well as dehumidification.
  • The Ideal solution for air circulation in large space area with certain hight.

Wind Chill Effect


The gentle breeze brings by HVLS fan to our body can accelerate sweat evaporation and make people feeling cool, usually this sensible temperature created by wind chill effect can be 5-8℃, in addition, the gentle wind from all sides will make people more comfortable compared with traditional powerful fan.

How to make people feel cooling down 5-8℃?


The running of big diameter fan blade accelerate the air flow, and increase the evaporative efficiency of the sweat on human being’s body, and this evaporation process takes away heat in body, that’s called wind chill effect.

As for the specific influence created by different wind speed, please see above graph, which can show you different temperature with different wind speed to make the difference that people feeling.

Space Ventilation

Usually the ventilation is restricted in a tall and big space, and the exhaust fan can barely work for the floor or corner of building where people and equipment located, while HVLS fan can solve the problem completely by sending a well-aligned wind in full space, coordinated with the air cooler or roof ventilator, to improve the air quality and achieve a healthy and comfortable working environment.

Cordinate with AC

During Spring or Autumn when temperature keep in a range from 20-34 ℃, for those space with AC system, it’s awkward to decide if need to run the AC system, while with HVLS fan, you can forget the electricity bill caused by AC system!

It cost a huge when AC system fully running, while the HVLS fan can spread the cold air into every corner of the space during AC running, make it more well proportioned.

In addition, testing shows that we can save power consumption 20% by setting AC temperature 1℃ higher, HVLS fan can shorten the running time of AC or decrease the running quantity of AC, but achieve a same cooling effect!
